A spectacular sunrise greeted us as we headed east for Washington DC this morning after a little shut eye in Greenfield, IN.
We (Circe, Bonnie, Hugh, Stormi, Becca, Braydon, Jacob, Anton, and Taylor) left on Friday, Jan 16, to drive from Iowa City and Tipton, Iowa to Washington DC for the inauguration of Barack Obama.
Friday the kids were all out of school for the third day due to snow (Wednesday) and arctic temperatures (Thurs and Fri) so we packed them earlier than originally planned and left Iowa with high hopes for a fun and meaningful adventure.
You guys totally rock for making this trip and "being" there!!!!!!
